POSITION SUMMARY:   Part Time - Days, Nights and Weekends 

The Customer Service Representative at Ocean State Job Lot is responsible for Customer Service issues from inception to resolution.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Respond to telephone, written, and email inquiries from stores
  • Capture and report all customer contacts through software application

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Prior Retail Customer Service experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google platform (i.e. sites, slides, drive, docs, sheets)
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, sitting, and frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
